Counting you carbohydrate intake may not be the most interesting thing in the world but it will help you to achieve the goals you have set yourself, you want bigger stronger muscles not fat. If you cut out carbohydrates altogether you simply won’t have the energy required to train, you just need to makes sure that you don’t go overboard whilst refilling the tank. The speed and rate that your body processes carbohydrates depends on how fast your metabolism is so the first few weeks are about finding the right balance for you.
